This app includes a Home-screen launcher, so the layout of your home screen may change after install. All your apps stay on your phone. They may just be in a different place.

PERMISSIONS & DEVICE SETTINGS
Messages keeps its main tools available if you skip an optional permission. Use Not now or Deny when you prefer, and reverse a device setting later in Android Settings.
• Notifications (optional) — alerts if you allow them. Skip anytime; turn off later in Android Settings.
• Phone / after-call extras (optional) — optional after-call extras can provide related actions after a phone call. They are separate from the core app. You can skip them.
• Display over other apps (optional) — after-call UI if you allow it. Revoke anytime in Android Settings.
• Launcher (included) — the app includes a Home-screen launcher for convenient access from the phone's Home experience. Some people may be asked to set it as the default Home app. Not everyone is asked. That choice is optional. You can skip it and keep your current Home, or change it later in Android Settings → Home app.
