Make it easier to see highlighted messages to be deleted, if only deleting certain ones. Also add more color schemes besides the usual BORING light and dark mode! Unfortunately Samsung is refusing to update their messaging app any further, so I don't have a choice on switching apps

It has one five-star feature, it doesn't switch to msg if your text exceeds the character limit unlike Google texting. This was a problem because my husband can't access them, but it doesn't happen with Textra. Negatives: occasional ads and a pop-up to leave a review every time I open the app. Now I have left one, so hopefully it won't keep asking me! Other than that, best texting app I've tried. Nice bright colors too. Give it a go 👍

Heads up Samsung users being forced to move to Google Messages!!! The app on the message about switching IS LINKED TO A MESSAGING APP CREATED BY A IN TEL AVIV COMPANY - IT'S NOT A GOOGLE LLC official app and has ads. Go into the Google store and instead download the Google Messager app FROM Google LLC and make that your default. It just wasn't adding up. My clue was when I reached out to complain customer service wasn't Google team that responded. Messages moved over fine - NO ADS! Nice try.

Too many ads and freezes my phone, so I can't get out of it. In response to apps response to my review, "Yes, and SMS messages used to free until RCS was forced on us.
