Messaging Tesla is a messaging application with special integration for your Tesla. With Messaging Tesla you will add seamless integration to Tesla's builtin messaging system for the following apps: - WhatsApp - Signal - Telegram - Facebook Messenger - Google Hangouts
This app requires a set of permissions to be able to fully integrate and function properly. Permissions required: - Notifications Access: Needed to Detect incoming messages from different messaging apps. - Default SMS Handler: Needed to be able to notify the car when a new message arrives. - Contacts Read/Write: Needed to send the correct contact information to the car when a message arrives.

This is awesome! I was disappointed that Tesla's hands-free messaging system did not support WhatsApp. This app fixes that! I get all my WhatsApp messages when driving, and I can reply hands free! Thus, should be included in every Tesla.

App used to work pretty well to integrate WhatsApp messaging into the car, but the lack of a web client made it slightly less convenient. More recently, it doesn't seem to work at all for WhatsApp in the car, so switching back to Google Messages.

Doesn't work with WhatsApp, sent email to developer over a week ago with no response. Tried everything to make it work but seems to just be a waste If the developer sees this and is able to help me resolve this to completion please check your email.

Needs to be updated Not compatible with the latest android but If you can somehow get it running messages do still come in the tesla, but they don't go to the correct contact when you send a message out App just needs an update would also like to see specific app whitelist contacts per app and adding support for other apps like to discord This app does deserve 5 starts, but it needs to be updated
