Magnetic Field Meter
Use the magnetic field meter to view real-time field strength in microtesla (µT), with clear readings and sensor-axis information. Metal detector app responds to changes measured by the phone's magnetic sensor.

Live Magnetic Graph
Watch field strength change over time on a live graph. Observe peaks and trends as you move the device while keeping its orientation consistent.

Magnetic Scan
Check relative magnetic-field levels using a seven-level visual indicator and adjustable sensitivity settings.

Magnetic Field Analyzer
Review magnetic-field magnitude, X/Y/Z sensor values, minimum, maximum and average readings, sample count and sensor accuracy. Pause, resume or reset your analysis.

Spot Test and Spot Comparison
Measure Spot A for five seconds, then measure Spot B. Compare the results to see how magnetic-field readings differ between two areas. Start a New Comparison whenever you want to repeat the spot test.

Metal Detector App Works
The magnetometer measures the magnetic field around your phone. Magnets, ferromagnetic materials, electronic equipment, device orientation and surrounding conditions can affect readings. This magnetic field detector reports sensor measurements; it does not identify the source of a change.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
This is not a dedicated metal-detection or electrical-safety instrument. Metal detector app cannot reliably identify coins, pipes, hidden objects or wiring, or determine their location or depth. Do not use readings to decide whether drilling or electrical work is safe. A built-in magnetic sensor is required, and performance varies by device.
