Description
Meteo Weather Widget is a weather app showing the weather in a very detailed way at a glance on your home screen. While many weather apps are showing the weather forecast in a rather basic way, this app does that by visualizing the forecast in a so-called meteogram. Doing so shows you a much better overview of when exactly rain will fall, the sun will be shining, when it will become cloudy...
The main focus of the app consists in showing the meteogram on a small home screen widget (e.g. a 4X1 widget). Even while the widget does not occupy that much space on the home screen, it still manages showing the forecast in a clear way. Simply add a widget on your home screen, specify your location (or let the widget automatically determine your location) and the weather forecast appears on your home screen.
The meteogram shows the temperature and expected precipitation for the complete forecast period. Besides those weather elements, the wind speed, wind direction and air pressure can also be visualized on the meteogram. The user has all freedom to customize how the meteogram should look like.

About the weather forecast data
All thanks to MET.NO (The Norwegian Meteorological Institute) for offering the weather forecast data (notice that for the long-term forecast period, one of the best weather models - ECMWF - is used by MET.NO).
For locations in the United States, NOAA is offered as short term weather provider.

So far I like it, but I would like to see one change. When the temperature line is below freezing it should be blue and when above it should be red. Then you can get a good sense of the temp at a glance.

This is a nice replacement for the AIX weather widget. But I have es problem: on my Oneplus 6 it does not update (scroll) as the daytime advances. It stays stuck at the time when I hit save in the settings. I already disabled any energy saving for the widget, but it does not help. I this a known problem? Edit: Cache reset and reboot helped.

Only 2 widgets. No landscape mode... so everything is microscopis small. Only one meteo provider!!! Only 2-days meteogram - not 5-days as shown on sample screens ap page. No line between the days. All in all - VERY basic... thera are dozens of much better free aps. Not recommended. UPDATED - no, there is no big widget, but only two - 4x1 and 4x2.

Could not get widget to save. Positioning seems to be limited accuracy - ie suburb. I live in a very large suburb.

Hi, thank you for your quick response. I have tried the widget and opened the settings but can't place the widget on my phone screen or can't able to open the application. I can't see any button to place it. And I don't have to spend too much time to check it. I must say, this application is not user-friendly. I am using Android 14 and my phone is Xiaomi 11. I have used many weather applications, but I'm not able to use this one. Hope you understand. Thank you.

I don't understand the color mapping. A lot of colored lines are plotted on the screen, but there is no documentation on what each line is. Also, the Italian translation is not intelligible. -- EDIT -- Thanks for your answer. I spent some time in the config menu, now I understand the layout. The main obstacles to a clear understanding were: 1. Small 5" display that doesn't show the full explanatory text of each config option due to hidden line overflow; 2. Bad machine-translated Italian, which is generally longer and more verbose than English. Minor obstacle were: 1. The lack of the unit of measure on the right side of the plot, referring to wind speed, m/s; 2. The color of the plotted lines changes when they overlap the area chart.
