Comments on MIDI Controller for Android

Works well! Tried connecting device to windows via usb with Reaper and a drums vst instrument. I just wish there was an option to enable velocity input, like top pad = full velocity and bottom of pad is the lowest velocity.

★★★★★ Dekrit G · Sep 24, 2021

It works great on my Galaxy Tab S7+ via usb cable (I have to enter developer mode in the setting and change the usb mode to MIDI). But I still can't figure out how to connect it via Bluetooth. It would be great if it works through Bluetooth, but nonetheless it's ok for now.

★★★★☆ Adrian · Jan 21, 2023

Works great so far for Neural DSP standalone plugins. Can connect to my PC via USB and place my phone on the floor as a makeshift foot controller. Bit bummed about saving requiring premium tho, but I guess it isn't too expensive compared to other solutions.

GARBAGE - RIPOFF - NO REFUND from in-app purchase that does absolutely nothing! ----- Sure, I have a problem with YOUR business model that bypasses the REFUND button via in-app purchase of the full version. Google should ban your outfit from selling cheesy apps! Now, it's worth the cost of the app for me to keep posting this review until they do or until you change your business model. I have time, do you Dev? Us consumers have to protect ourselves. I want it to work. I bought it. I did my part.

★☆☆☆☆ James Stettler · Dec 30, 2021

There is no way to preview this app with your external device, and no explanation of the capability of the device or how to use it, despite it being described as an app for "everyone". If the positive reviews are authentic, then this is an app for midi experts, and pretty useless for people who just want to play a USB midi keyboard through their chromebook. I will seek a refund, since the developers do not see fit to allow in-app refund.

★☆☆☆☆ FirstByte · Mar 18, 2025

I just needed a simple midi controller. The app allows almost nothing if you don't buy the premium version. I'd rate it 0 stars if I could.

★☆☆☆☆ midiaxbill · Jul 4, 2026

Sadly it doesn't fit in my moto 56g screen. Even when out of landscape. Also, perhaps a manual link is needed. So I will uninstall now. Maybe try later
