I get a chat engine to generate Midi files for different moods and loop them. Playing this is what I hoped for and this App works the way I wanted without much fuss.

This app brought a smile to my face. I downloaded a midi file for Mozart K448 with some weird instrument choices, could very easily change the sound to piano, mute the other piano and start playing along via my BT loudspeaker. Fantastic! BTW I couldn't see what extra features Premium delivers. Is it just a way to support the developers? OK, I bought Premium (still no idea what it does 😀), downloaded some SF2 piano sound fonts that sound pretty good, so my smile just got broader.

Nice app but I have an issue with android 13 not recognizing this app as a midi player. I have tried many file explorers including the Google files viewer in an attempt to simply select a midi file from within a file explorer then use Volcano Midi Player as the default player. This is not possible. I can find no way of associating midi files with this app. I am aware of a great many people who would buy this app if this were possible. Just noticed the app does not send Sysex in midi files.

Reluctantly I have to give this latest version one star. There is no sound coming from it on my phone, and it is clearly playing a midi file because I can see the notes on the piano display. I can play the midi file quite successfully on other midi players on my phone, so it is a problem with this app. I have contacted their support and have had no reply so, because it doesn't work properly and because there is no support I have given it one star.

I am new to playing with MIDI. All I was trying to achieve is to play MIDI files on my Roland keyboards via a DORMICE MTB-22 Pro. Your app seems to have everything I need. My phone is a Samsung A33 running Android 14 and One UI 6.1. The problem seems to be that the app does not have access to BT APIs. So is unable to initiate the pairing process with the MTB-22 device. I have been able to do this via other apps, but they don't have the functionality I am looking for.
