This app worked fast. Make sure to get right app pilot or link. Turn motor on turn on blue tooth, push pair button until you see pilot or link, in menu click it accepts blue tooth link. Enjoy phone app I updated very quickly and have full control of motor.

WORKS BUT FIX THE INSTRUCTIONS! The app works as advertised EXCEPT the instructions are non-existent, and I couldn't get it to pair with my Ultra. After a call to tech support, I was informed that with my Ultra on, scan for Bluetooth devices and then hold the pairing button down on the pilot Link head UNTIL I hear the four pairing beeps! This took 15 or 20 seconds it seems, and I'm guessing everyone else is also giving up before it decides to pair! As soon as I heard those beeps... All good and was immediately able to control the unit and also update my remote! Just keep holding that pairing button!

Version 1.5 screws up pilot link remote the icons move on their own after
doing menu edit and have to tap above the icon you want to select the one
you actually want. The added talon icon is blacked out, and it throws off
the touch screen calibration. Only fix is to restore the pilot link remote
constantly please fix. Stopped working from the new 1.5 update. They sent
me a new remote that didn't work, and then they sent me another remote and a
new pilot link head unit that didn't work. This software update is full of
bugs

Ok, the remote sucks and is expensive to replace (they don't last). The app would be a great replacement option, but it won't stow or deploy your motor. Why would they leave this function out? Useless app without that functionality in my opinion.

Pairing my Ultra to my phones Bluetooth took 3 hours of extreme irritation and frustration to get them to pair and connected to the i-pilot link app. I've had my ultra for about a month now, and I've just now gotten it to pair with my phones Bluetooth after messing with it for the last few hours and finally for what ever reason the pair button and my phones Bluetooth finally decide to work amd connect... then spent another 30 minutes waiting for the software updates to download in the app. 💩
