Description by Coppercod(from Google Play)
Classic Minnesota Whist — play offline vs computer players. No internet required. No sign-up. Just four-player partnership Whist with High/Low bidding, no trumps, stats and replays. Minnesota Whist is a no-trump trick-taking card game popular in Minnesota and South Dakota. Each round starts with a High or Low bid, then both partnerships try to make the right number of tricks.
Why you’ll enjoy Classic Minnesota Whist • Offline play — no internet required • No account or sign-up • Four-player partnership Whist • No trumps — pure suit play and timing • High/Low bidding each round • Easy, Medium and Hard computer players • Optional set bonus scoring • Option to set sluff signals from best or worst suits • Win target: 7 or 13 • Claim winning tricks faster • AutoPlay options for smoother games • Stats tracking • Trick review and hand replays • Reveal starting hands • Custom card faces, themes and suit colors
How Minnesota Whist works Each round begins with a bid card that decides whether the hand is played High or Low. In a High round, your partnership aims to win more tricks. In a Low round, your partnership aims to avoid tricks. There are no trumps, so players must follow suit where possible, and the highest card in the led suit wins the trick. Play to 7 or 13 points, choose your scoring options, and practice Minnesota Whist whenever you like.
Recent changes: Bug fix: Correct font sizing issue for devices that use larger font sizes A new "sluff signals" setting that allows you to choose whether players sluff from their best or worst suits as a signal in high rounds. Added more theme and deck color options. Also includes general polish and refinements.

Clean, no distracting/annoying pop-up ads (options as to how to see ads and play). Very clear and precise instructions and explanation on the game and how to play. Only thing I'd like to see added/changed, is to have an individual card play "UNDO" available, e.g. if you tap the wrong card by mistake. The UNDO options available (bid/play) are only available once the hand is completed. Regardless, I have shared this app with others as it's a great app for Minnesota Whist!

This is a great game and this is the way I grew up playing whist (when it's a high hand). The only complaint I have is how the AI plays the low hands. It doesn't make sense to me, and I've tried to figure it out. I just grand most of the time to avoid playing low. Thanks!!!

Worst version of Minnesota Whist I've ever played. A. I. is almost non-existent. I grand. Partner gets in and plays Ace then King of clubs. I sluf on King as I only had one club. His next play is 2 of clubs! Another example. Opposing team grands. Partner invites. I play Queen. I then play back low card in same suit. Partner plays Ace. Even though partner had King, Jack and 2 other cards in that suit partner plays a low card in a different suit! Never did get to take the K/J.
