I am just getting started with Mixel, but I can tell I'm going to love it. Every now and then I mix drinks at an event for family or friends. Mixel has all the features to help me do that. I can create separate bars (for distinct events with different ingredients available) and export the cocktails to PDF for guests to look at to choose their cocktail. One thing, this app is PACKED with customizable features, so be patient as you learn and use them to set up your bar and do what you need.

I'm blown away that this app does what it promises, since it is a very tall task. This by far the best (and only reliable) option I have found to manage a home bar. No website, YouTube channel, or personal note system can do what Mixel does. This app lets me understand what drinks I can make with my ingredients, what drinks I could make if I were to buy something new, read and write reviews and notes on recipes, grow my bar, etc. The execution is also flawless. It is a pleasure to use. Bravo!

The app itself is really cool but the subscription model is a scam for the price. If there was an option to one time purchase that would be more fair.

I got this to reference drinks from specific books. The books are there, and so are some of the recipes, but Mixel specifically states that not all recipes are there, and they may have modified the recipes to suit their own needs or whatever. That defeats the purpose of the reference material I wanted, and I'm not going to "fact check" all the recipes I need. I'll just cancel my sub and uninstall.

Great app, but don't switch phones or forget your password. Got a new phone and went to type in the password that I am almost sure it is, but I kept getting an invalid password message. So I tried to reset the password, and I never got the reset email even though the email is correct. I tried this more than 20 times. Then, I tried to email support. No reply-no cares. It's a real bummer. I had so many custom drinks made on this app that I made for myself and my friends. All gone.

It would be good if it weren't subscription only. I'm sure some people are okay with paying $24 a year, but for something that I can just Google recipes, or buy the book to directly support the author, it's just too much.
