Gives you much control over your headphones. The adaptation to ones personal hearing via a quite professional hearing test is particularly noteworthy.

I'm writing this because I bought a pair of Lagoons and saw the reviews on this app. I was very worried it would require updates, or that the personalization would be rubbish. Nope. The hearing test is basically the same one they give you when you go to the hospital for one. After completing it, it has perfectly matched the sound to my pallet. The quality before was brilliant, but I felt it lacked something, depth. Not anymore. Very happy. Plus it showed me the touch controls for the headset!

This app SAVES the Lagoon ANC! Seriously! Update your firmware and get the better Active Noise Cancelation AND the MIY App and customize your sound profile. The difference is NIGHT and DAY! I have a pair of Beyer dynamic DT 990 Pro 600ohm cans and nothing has ever compared to them, until now. Now, I have a pair of cans that has 20–45 hours of battery life and ALMOST the same sound quality but through Apt X instead of my PC's sound card. Almost the same quality of sound. Almost. Good enough!

Trying out the beyerdynamic MMX 200 Wireless Gaming Headset and the product page for it says it's compatible with this MIY app, yet after downloading it, I get a pop-up saying "This version of the MIY App does not support this device" and to update to the latest version, but I just downloaded the latest version from the Google Play Store.

New update is broken. Use at your own risk. File will not install, repair or even Uninstall on Windows. Each time get a "fail" message. Have not received any word from Beyer dynamic, however I did receive word from a tech at Sweetwater, and he said it was most like misreported about an upgrade, because the firmware upgrade does not have any files related to Beyer dynamic Lagoon headphones. He did say there have been a couple of reports of bricked headphones, so he is advising hold off on an update

Frustrating. I have xelento wireless. When they work they are fantastic. However, the connection to a phone is nothing short of terrible. Also, they have awful distortion when used with the personalization setting. Also, the 6-second hold to power off is madness and unnecessary. Who passed that in the development team. Please let me change it. Lastly, they have no auto power off. Sounds great but my cheap bose connect better, don't distort have auto power off and don't take 10 s to standby
