Description by Missouri Department of Conservation(from Google Play)
The MO Hunting application enables Missouri hunters, anglers, and trappers to purchase, view, and store annual hunting, fishing, and trapping permits and associated details, as well as view permits purchased during the previous year. This application will allow hunters to notch their permit and Telecheck their harvest directly from their deer or turkey permit within the application, using an easy-to-use form. MO Hunting also enables hunters to view all deer and turkey which they have previously checked and the associated details.
In order to log in to MO Hunting, users will need their Conservation Number. This 9-digit number can be found on the BACK of their Heritage Card, next to the bar code. This is different from the 16-digit number on the front of the card. Their Conservation Number can also be found on any current or previous permit. For more help locating their Conservation Number, users can call (573) 751-4115 during regular business hours, and ask for the permits office, or go to http://mdc.mo.gov/node/5127.
NOTE: Effective July 1, 2015, the Wildlife Code of Missouri requires hunters, anglers, and trappers to carry either a signed hard copy or an electronically signed digital copy of the prescribed permit with them while actively engaged in hunting, fishing, or trapping. The signed paper or digital copy of the permit should then be exhibited to any officer charged with the enforcement of this Code upon request, or to any transportation company or postal employee when presenting wildlife for shipment.
After harvesting a deer or turkey it is still necessary to immediately notch the month and date of harvest on your permit, which you can now do within the MO Hunting application. You must telecheck your harvest by 10:00 pm on the day of harvest, or prior to being removed from the state, and record the Telecheck confirmation number on your voided permit.
Recent changes: + Fix Telechecks list not showing message when there is no telecheck.

Great app when it worked, but now it just spins and doesn't show my permits. Edit: I contacted them, and now it shows my permit. No more spinning wheel of death.
★★★★★Puna· Nov 19, 2024
Not VPN compatible. If you want to use this app your phone cannot be connected to a VPN. This causes the spinning wheel when you try to log in. Some VPN services allow exceptions for specific apps, if you're having issues logging in you should try this.
★★★★☆Christopher Harry· Jun 28, 2021
Update fail: Just downloaded the update and now the app will not open. But MDC said we had to have the update to use. When will this be fixed? Update. Uninstalled then re-installed, app is working but a dialog box pops up saying I need to update.
★★★★☆Garrett Miles· Jul 2, 2021
Doesn't work. I got a new phone and had to sign in for the first time in that device. Once I entered my info to sign-in, it locks up and just spins. I can't access anything else on the page. Sign-in started working again. Maybe they were doing maintenance?

MO Hunting app is the best. Easy to apply for your hunting application and carrying your hunting tags and keeping up with your history.
★★☆☆☆Joshua Gourley· Oct 29, 2022
Works good, when it works. Here recently, it's been the spinning wheel of death. Uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now it's not pulling up any of my licenses that I've purchased, and still has the spinning wheel of death. Not only that, but when I log in, it kicks me back to the login screen 3 or 4 times before it logs me in

I have used this app for years to buy my tags and keep up with them all in one spot. Now all of a sudden when I log in nothing loads. It just sits there and spins
★☆☆☆☆Ben S· May 6, 2022
Used to work great. Since turkey season this year is being sporadic on whether you could log in or if permits would even display, been a year, still not working, had to use the website to telecheck my turkey. Got a new phone, and now I can't even log in.
★☆☆☆☆Caleb Worsley· Dec 8, 2021
Awful app. Will not allow me to sign in, never loads. Better off buying paper tags
