Works well. I would like to see more access to generator settings in the app vs having to go to the device.

Love having access to what the status of our generator is, especially if we aren't at home. It is also nice to get reminders for service needed or potential issues that need addressed. We love our Generac whole home system.

Great device. I came home in the middle if Tropical Storm Edouard with power off in city but Generac was humming and Air Conditioning unit working. Unit ran for 23 hours before power connected by Energy. I was preparing for shutdown of Generac after 24 hours of use to check and service unit. I checked out level the following day.

If your router goes down momentarily during an outage and your generac is running, you will NOT get a notification that it was activated. You have to pay over 50 bucks a year for a subscription for the owner to receive a notification that the generac was activated! I do have a backup battery for my router so any downtime for the router was very limited. This is an important feature that is missing in the app.

My Generac Guardian 22kw is Connected to My Network but not in this app. We recently had some electrical work in our house due to a rainstorm that flooded our house on Father's Day this year. This morning I was able to look at the status and the outside temperature from the Mobile Link app, but now it states that the generator is reconnecting to Wi-Fi, but it is already connected to my Wi-Fi however this app is not working like it was this morning. Uninstalled and reinstalled app but issue remains.

As of 8/16/26 app no longer updates the generator status or generator runs. I have uninstalled/ reinstalled app and cleared cache and reset password with no success. Not going to pay for this app if it no longer works.
