For those that are having trouble with the card reader I may have the answer! I discovered that when my card reader was plugged in the volume would drop to about 3/4 volume IN THE SOUND SETTING! The volume bar showed full volume, BUT, when I went into my tablet settings, and then sounds, the MEDIA VOLUME BAR was only showing 3/4 volume. For the reader to work the tablet, or phone, MUST BE AT FULL VOLUME!!! If you unplug and re-plug the card reader into your tablet the volume will again DROP to 3/4 volume and you will have to reset the media volume again. As long as you leave it plugged in, you will be OK. I hope this helps. Mine works great now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, the tablet version has a different appearance than the phone version, so it will take a little getting use to, but once you do, you will love it!

Card reader won't read. Reader still works fine on my HTC One but not on my Samsung galaxy tablet. Need to force close after each transaction because the app freezes and the screen goes black after the signature and receipt confirmation screen. Happens on both devices. Also the tech support task force socialist supposedly assigned to my case has yet to contact me, it's been several weeks since I have opened my case. Pretty annoyed.

Square does not work on tablet I have given this app 2 stars because of it's ease to set up, but that's where it ends. Will not read cards. App installed on a Samsung 7" pad.
