Die Breitbandmessung/Funkloch-App hat ein umfassendes Update mit neuem Design erhalten und wird zum Mobilfunk-Check. Die App wurde grundlegend überarbeitet und neugestaltet.
Der Mobilfunk-Check wird im Auftrag der Bundesnetzagentur durch die zafaco GmbH bereitgestellt.
Speed testen
Mit der Funktion Speedtest können Sie in wenigen Sekunden, die lokal zur Verfügung stehende Datenübertragungsrate auf mobilen Endgeräten testen. Die Messung ist anbieter- und technologieunabhängig möglich. Die ermittelten Ergebnisse lassen sich orts- und zeitgebunden auf Ihrem Smartphone speichern.
Netz checken
Die Funktion Netzcheck ermöglicht das Erfassen der augenblicklichen Netzverfügbarkeit Ihres Mobilfunknetzes. Die ermittelten Ergebnisse werden orts- und zeitgebunden auf Ihrem Smartphone gespeichert und in einer Karte dargestellt.
Zudem werden die individuell erfassten Datenübertragungsraten und Netzverfügbarkeiten (kein Netz, 2G, 4G, 5G) an die Breitbandmessung übermittelt und fließen in aggregierter Form in die öffentlichen Kartendarstellungen ein.

Fast check but a little bit too much bureaucracy. IT does what it should, and I hope it will help to improve the networks. -1 for bureaucracy +4 for features and functions

This app worked flawlessly to document the network problems of my connection. The only setup step was to select my contract and afterward all measurements contained everything I needed. Unlike the reviews 5 years ago affecting the average rating of this app, it works pretty nicely.

Can't start a measurement. It keeps claiming a newer version is available on the App Store. I updated to the latest version, and it still keeps claiming a newer version would be available. Everything is greyed out. Not helpful if you update in an area with poor reception and afterward still can't measure your bandwidth.

Data points with inaccurate location shouldn't be dropped since they are the ones with bad cellular coverage very often as well... Better to store location accuracy information as well.

Both Android and Windows Apps look like a fake (lobbied by ISP's?). Why the hell the App asks about my provider, tariff and even how satisfied I am with the provider BEFORE the measurement??? Just played with different tariffs (my real and a couple of fake ones) and got totally different measurement results, deviating for up to 300% from the real one (measured with other independent tools). It's just a joke...
