More Than Modes: Guitar Scales

Add any song and play it like never before: the More Than Modes song chord detector shows the chords bar by bar and draws them on the neck, and the stem splitter separates the vocals, drums, bass and guitar so you can play along. All on your phone, offline.

And around it, everything you need to understand what you play: guitar scales and modes on the fretboard, a guitar chord trainer, school, harmony, rhythm and ear. One app.

YOUR SONGS, WITH CHORDS · NEW
Pick an MP3 from your phone and in seconds you have the chords, bar by bar, rolling as it plays. See each shape on the fretboard, slow it down without changing the pitch or change the key without changing the speed. The bar you can't get: mark it and loop it.

STEM SPLITTER · NEW
Mute the guitar and play it yourself. Mute the vocals and sing over it. Keep only the bass to work it out note by note. The app splits your song into four parts and you choose which ones play. It's done once and saved.

THE FRETBOARD
Every scale, mode and chord on guitar, ukulele and bass, with the metronome on the same screen. Build a chord with the pencil and the app tells you its name. What you play gets written as tab and notation.

SCHOOL · NEW
Short theory lessons with games to lock in each idea: notes, the neck, intervals, scales. Morty and Lana explain them out loud, in your language.

FRETBOARD TRAINER
The neck turned into a game, against the clock. Find the note, name it, place it on its string. And new: build chords by tapping the neck, level by level, from open chords to jazz voicings. The mic really listens.

CHORD MULTIVERSE
Every chord that fits your key, at a glance. Draw the progression with your finger and it plays right away. The key spiral and the way back home to the tonic, already worked out.

HARMONIC CIRCLE
The circle of fifths you can touch and hear, with guitar and piano rhythms. Turn it while the progression plays and hear it in the new key instantly. Negative harmony and modal interchange included.

DRUM & METRONOME
A full drum machine with a library of rock, funk, house and trap. And a serious metronome: 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8, subdivisions, accents, and a tempo that climbs on its own.

EAR TRAINING
Chords, intervals, scales and modes. Miss one and it shows you why.

SONGBOOK
Your lyrics and chords together, every chord over its syllable. It plays on a real piano with rock, funk, reggae or ska strums. Export it to PDF.

ALBUMS TO PLAY OVER
Whole soul, jazz, funk and metal records made for practice, with the chords appearing as they play.

CHROMATIC TUNER
Guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, cello, mandolin and more. Drop D, open tunings and reference A your way.

IT ADAPTS TO YOU
Left-handed, Latin notation, five languages. And if you don't know what a button does, hold your finger on it for two seconds: they'll explain it.
