Thank you for the new 18 Oct 22 update. It's working much, much better now. Previously only gave it one star. Everything finally works as it should include offline maps. The only recommendation I have for the next update is to warn the user when they select too large an area for an offline Map BEFORE it starts downloading the selected area. If it's too large an area it won't finish downloading and can't be used, wastes my data allowance having to download a smaller area to use instead.

Just curious I noticed in the app when you're looking at the Bluetooth tab it doesn't seem to update the battery in real time is there a way to resolve this so that it updates the battery percentage in real time or is there something I need to do to make that happen. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth turning the radios on and off, but the battery level doesn't seem to change for example it says 91%, 2 hours later it still says 91% but the radio is charging

Love the range, love the offline capabilities. I would like to see user defined auto sending near real time PLI sharing rate. If I want to send my PLI at 1 Hz automatically it's my decision. I understand it will come at a power and bandwidth cost but isn't that upto the user to decide? I dislike greatly engineers deciding what's best for me. You're trying to hit a power budget...users need the option.

Once I finally managed to get the app to install correctly, it works great. The added capabilities for mapping and location sharing and texting this adds to the radios is fantastic. The only complaint I have is the fact that it took over a week of trying to complete the initial connection of the phone to the radio. The setup process requires a texted verification code. It took more than twenty tries over approximately 10 days to actually receive the verification code.

Radios won't pair to my or my girlfriend's phone. We bought them as emergency ways to keep contact. App and radio can't find each other for Bluetooth even when they are an inch apart. Either the app sucks, or the radios suck. Could be bot too.

Motorola support only sends an automated response. They do not seem to follow up after days and days. Poor rating for this. This app does not load offline maps when you are off-line. Instead, you have to be online, load the off-line map, then remember not to accidentally close the app. Really frustrating! And functionally useless when you are out of data range.
