I love the mountain project website and everything you can do, but the app is not that friendly and does not auto update and sync with the website correctly. That being said it is an amazing tool for finding climbs and beta. 5 stars for the website and 4 for the buggy app to website interface

Highly recommend for rock climbers, just remember to download your maps and images ahead of time. Mountain project makes it much easier to navigate the outdoors for good and knowledgeable climbing areas.

Unless traveling the app is mediocre at best. All the information is to be taken with a grain of salt and is often not 100% accurate. It was a usable resource previously but after being bought by onX it sucks. Why would I have to pay a subscription to access information the climbing community has put together for free.

I can't search areas that I haven't downloaded which sucks. I wish the app worked more like the website. If I have data, why can't I explore a new area just by searching for the downloaded state or area?

I'm sure the app is great, but I can't log in without making an account with onX whatever that is. I literally have an account. Let me log in. I'll just use the website instead

The map is really bad now, I can zoom in on a climbing location, and it won't appear. If I zoom out far enough to see another big climbing location the smaller one will be included with it. These climbing areas are not near each other, they shouldn't be appearing as if they are. Makes it hard to find areas near me that may only have a few routes.
