mpv over ssh

Control mpv running on your Linux machine directly from Android.
mpv over ssh lets you save SSH profiles, send playback commands, browse remote files, and stream media from your phone to remote mpv over your network.

How it works
1. Add your remote Linux host profile.
2. Connect to the host over SSH.
3. Launch mpv or open media directly.
4. Control playback in real time from your phone.

For local media, select a file on your Android device and the app serves it over your local network so remote mpv can play it.

Requirements
• A reachable Linux machine with:

◦ SSH server enabled
◦ socat available for mpv IPC command controls
• Android device and remote host on the same network (recommended for local streaming)

Privacy and data
• The app stores SSH profiles locally on your device.
• The app uses network access only for SSH and local media streaming workflows.
• No in-app ads.
