This is great. I wish they had this when I commuted back in the 80s

Shows all you need to ride the rails even if not happy about emptying your bank account to do it. Hate the same day 🎟

Always gives updated information on train schedules and also links to buy tickets from your phone.

I was able to check timings and buy tickets easily. Could be faster in pulling up the ticket. I liked that it showed the track that the train was arriving at at grand central in real time. I really wish we had a rail card/system that covered the entire metro area/state/country, though.

Did not show schedule for the next day and no button to switch to next day.

Please please buy a paper ticket, they will charge you if you wait (like a smart and rational person) to activate your ticket on the train. 2 times I've activated too early and had my ticket disappear. Absolute theft

App gave me a warning about a surcharge when I was running for the train, and I just got on it before it started moving. The 24 hours expiration date is annoying and causes more issues than solving them. It's better to buy the physical ticket that buying it on the app, and I guess use the app as a last resort, so you won't be charged $8 extra

The MTA changed its policy. Pre-purchased, one-way tickets are only valid for less than one day, even if they aren't activated. After pre-purchasing 10 tickets, and only activating 2, 8 tickets were left to expire, despite me asking for a refund less than three hours of purchase following the new policy change. The App's "chat with us" was unhelpful. Customer service hung up on me and an MTA worker who called MTA for me to help. No response or refund has been provided. Avoid LIRR if you can.
