The Metro Transit app is a tool to make riding the bus, METRO system and Northstar in the Twin Cities a little bit easier. After you’ve identified your desired trip and transit departure time, you can buy and use Metro Transit mobile tickets right from your smartphone – it’s like having a ticket machine right in your pocket!
KEY FEATURES: Find the right bus, light rail, or train for you through the Trip Planner. See the next available bus, light rail, or train for your desired trip with NexTrip. Pay a single fare or multiple fares for a group of riders, and store multiple tickets on your phone for future use. Simply create an account and enter your credit/debit card information in our secure system. If you’re looking to pay with cash, you can use a pre-paid debit card or pre-paid gift card.

Great since they fixed the payment issue! Most convenient way to pay for transit tickets, especially when at a station that doesn't accept credit cards in the ticket machines or if you don't have a Go-To card.

This is the app I would code to end public transt_------±+ The first and primary function of this app should be an up to date live time tracker of public transit buses and trains. Instead, it seems to be just a way to purchase bus tickets/passes. You people realize you could front load the trip planning/ next trip functions and then OFFER to let someone pay for their trip with their phone afterward! And speaking of the next rip function redirects to a clunky website.

I rely on this app to show and store my tickets. Today the app isn't working, and I had a ticket in my account, but it wouldn't let me access it. I use this app to get home. Luckily I am a regular transit user and the bus drivers are amazing
