You don't need a special Fast Fare card if you use this app, at least to replace cash fares. Make sure you 1) have money in your account (haven't tried passes/discounts), 2) create a token, 3) have the app in Tap & Ride mode when you board. Plop your phone on the optical scanner next to the card reader, and you're good to go.

Sucks that regular daily riders don't get any sort of discount by buying monthly passes anymore, you're forced to just be paying daily $2 per ride tickets now. Guess Madison wasn't making enough money from the buses? Supposedly there's a "daily fare cap" but I seriously doubt anyone out there is actually riding enough to reach that. I would prefer a flimsy paper card I could destroy or lose than paying 2x as much to commute. Thanks for making the buses less and less worth it. 👍

I can't understand how to buy a monthly pass. When I'm charging money for monthly pass and using my card it charges single rides all the time. Also, there's no way to unlink a card from the account. This app is not intuitive and needs improvements.
