Whether you are hiking, cycling, traveling, geocaching, sailing, or meeting friends, the app brings together accurate GPS data, GPS track recording, GPX export, live location sharing, and the management of saved places in one app.

ACCURATE GPS DATA

My GPS Location shows you the best available position using data from all current location providers, including GPS, mobile networks, and Wi-Fi. It is ideal for activities that require reliable real-time GPS coordinates, such as geocaching, hiking, sailing, or cycling.

The app also provides precise coordinates and altitude data for astronomy and astrophotography, helping you align telescopes and cameras accurately.

TRACK RECORDING AND GPX EXPORT

Record walks, bike rides, runs, journeys, and outdoor adventures as GPS tracks. Follow your route live on the map while recording and review your saved tracks at any time.

Export your tracks as GPX files and use them with GPS devices, mapping software, outdoor navigation tools, and many other applications.

SHARE YOUR LIVE LOCATION

Share your real-time location with friends and family. Start a live sharing session and send the generated link. No account or registration is required.

Recipients can follow your movement instantly in any modern web browser without installing the app.

This is ideal for outdoor activities, traveling, meeting in the city, coordinating arrivals, or improving personal safety while on the move. Your position is updated in real time, and you decide when sharing ends.

KEY FEATURES INCLUDE

OVERVIEW

See all important GPS data at a glance, including latitude and longitude, altitude, accuracy, speed, and direction of movement. Choose between coordinate formats such as decimal degrees, degrees minutes seconds, and UTM. Altitude can be displayed in meters or feet, and speed in m/s, ft/s, km/h, mph, or knots.

MAP

Find your parked car, a beach from your last vacation, the mooring of a boat, or other saved places. Add new places with a long press on the map and move existing places by dragging them to a new position. The app supports common map types, including street maps and satellite imagery.

PLACES

Save, edit, and manage your favorite locations and see their distance from your current position. This is especially useful when traveling or returning to frequently used meeting points. Distances are calculated precisely using the WGS84 ellipsoid.

TRACKS

Manage your recorded GPS tracks, view them on the map, and review information such as distance and duration. All tracks can be exported as GPX files.

SHARE AND SAVE YOUR LOCATION

Share your current position via messaging apps, email, or other apps. Your contacts receive your coordinates and a link to Google Maps. In an emergency, you can even send your location by SMS when no internet connection is available. You can also copy GPS coordinates to the clipboard and paste them into map apps, chats, or emails.

Whether you use it for everyday navigation, traveling, hiking, cycling, geocaching, sailing, or astronomy, My GPS Location gives you accurate GPS data, reliable GPS track recording, GPX export, live location sharing, and easy access to your saved places.
