Description
My Healing Space® is an immersive therapeutic experience with Deborah Maddison. Deborah is a Breathwork Practitioner, Breathwork Trainer, and TRE® practitioner (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises). She offers her extensive client experience to kindly and compassionately support you in building a greater ability to self-regulate, as if you were with her in person. This is perfect for anyone with a nervous system that they would like to understand better and feel more in control of. Find greater calm in simple, accessible ways.
The App includes:
• Nervous system theory, science and education videos, presented in an easy to understand, engaging, and relatable way, with helpful free resources.
• Specific advice, support and practices for improving your sleep.
• Guided Audio Practices to help you connect to your body and find your calm. Deborah’s calm and soothing voice will support you to feel safe and held. Learn how to move through activation, overwhelm, anxiety or shutdown, into calm grounded presence.
The practices include:
- Grounding and nervous system regulation - Different Breathwork Practices: mindful, connecting and regulating - Connecting more deeply and kindly to your body - Somatic practices, neural exercises and vagal toning - Support for anxiety and panic - Creating containment in the body - Growing your container of safety - Self-acceptance practices - And more!
• Trauma informed work that is led by the science of safety:
- Choice – You are never pushed, but invited to listen to your own body and inner voice, with options to adapt or change any practice to be more suitable for you. - Context – Every practice is explained, so you know what it does and why. - Connection – Deborah will be there to soothe you with her kind and calming voice and presence. She holds a gentle, caring space for you to explore your connection to yourself.
