It's not the best app in the world. That is for sure. It's a necessary evil to me. Atm I have coupons and the barcodes aren't coming up on them. It happens occasionally. You have to consistently get in and out of the enter/check ticket icon for the camera to pop up. Sometimes you may have to scan the ticket more than once. Or even twice. Again, it's just a necessary evil app.

I FOUND WAY TO FIX WHEN YOU TRY TO SCAN TICKET TO ENTER FOR POINTS on MLR app (Lottery Rewards) but it doesn't respond or accept ticket. After 1st try you just need to PRESS "SCAN TICKET" button once again but when your camera opens PRESS CANCEL button instead of trying to scan ticket this time. It says 'Ticket has been entered' or 'You already entered this ticket'.

So if you open the regular Maryland lottery app you can no longer scan scratch-offs. They make you download this app. Whatever I'll have multiple apps for one application. But it doesn't work. Whenever you scan a ticket it pauses for a second and immediately goes back to where you have to click on scan ticket. It doesn't work at all!

Fix the scan errors! The app’s scratch-off scanner is completely unreliable. It frequently marks my tickets as winners, but when I scan them at a lottery retailer machine, they come back as non-winners. On top of that, ticket scanning for points and Second Chance draws is so frustrating and clunky that I’ve stopped using those features entirely. MD Lottery needs to hire a capable development team to fix these bugs and rebuild a user-friendly app.
