Got a notice in the mail that the free checking will now be $10 a month checking. I never agreed to that and the letter gave me no choice. I do not live near a branch and I need to close my account because it makes no sense for them to treat people this way. I think they will force your account to remain open if you can't drive to one of the branches.

An awful app from a more horrible bank. Synovus has no regard for their customers. Their phone customer service is even worse. This bank lovesok wasting customers time

Cannot get instant balances anymore. No faq or information on how to reinstall.

Customer service is great. But you should be able to assign some form of debit card. Even if temporary. It sucks not being able to access my checking account.
