Description
My Tiny DB is database that allows you to create collection of anything up to 20 fields, for example a collection of books, DVDs, or any data you like to store. Collections can be backup/Restore to internal storage or to Drop Box. The application can be password protected.
Create a new collection:
• Creating a new collection is easy jest click on the new collection icon or click on one of the templates provided (Software, House hold, Books, Car maintenance) or you can import a collection from CSV file. • If you select New for your collection than you can specified the number of fields required (up to 20). • Than you can edit the fields name and by long press on a field you can specified the data type for that field. • Than provide unique name for your collection and click save to create a table for your collection in the database. • After that the name of your collection will be provided on the drop down list which you can select it to View or Edit, Delete, Modified structure and copy to new collection.
Import CSV file:
• Prepare your collection using Excel Sheet (or any program you preferred) the first line is the collection field's name. • Enter your data up to 20 fields (column). • Save the file as CSV (comma separated value). • For best result open the created CSV file with Notepad and resave it using encoding UTF-8. • Copy the file to your device internal storage. • Than import your collection by clicking on CSV icon. • Than you can provide a name for your imported collection and by long press on a filed you can specified the data type for that field. • Finally click save and you collection will imported.
