Description
MyChime is a really simple hourly chimer/time announcer. Configure it to only chime (using the classic digital watch beep), only speak the time (12 or 24h clock) or both. It can also be configured to perform its hourly actions only at a defined time interval or only when a headset is connected. The app is also accessible to hard of hearing people: you can set it to vibrate every hour.
The goal behind this app was to make something really simple and small, which would consume as little resources as possible: service only runs if any of the hourly activities is enabled, the audio file is pretty small, code is clean; unlike other hourly chimes out there which are full of unrelated features bloating the app unnecessarily.

So far, the bleep is working well. I'd like to increase the volume as well as customize the sound. Still four stars because the app is doing what it's supposed to without additional stuff. Thank you.

After trying many others "hourly beep" applications and finding that none of them worked properly, I was really hoping that this one would simply make a double beep on the hour and a single beep at the "half past" points. I'm very disappointed that in my old Acer A1-810 tablet running KitKat, it *sometimes* vibrated on the hour without beeping. In my Samsung Galaxy S7 running Oreo, it *sometimes* beeped at the right times without evident vibration, but mostly it didn't do anything. Evidently it is much harder to create a program which does these simple functions, than it seems to be. 😕

Stopped working. Perhaps TTS updates finally broke compatibility; My Chime hasn't been updated in 3 yrs. Shame since it's so simple & used to work rather well.

Useless app Does NOT work in Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 in whatsoever manner no matter how I change settings. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times to no avail. Finally, I gave up. And permanently uninstalled. What a waste of time!
