Comments on MyColosseum for Android

★★★★☆ Jen Taylor · Mar 2, 2026

The button to change languages on Android needs to be bigger/lower down, as it's REALLY difficult to access. Other than that, the app is excellent... you don't need to start in location one (so enter the site from the quiet entry points) and it automatically narrates what you're seeing... really well done

★★★★☆ alex · Feb 23, 2026

Decent audio tour, but it will ruin your battery life.

★★★★★ Arturo Salnikov · Jul 14, 2024

The map isn't the most convenient, but you can just click to listen to whatever audio track, and it is a cool freebie

★★☆☆☆ Rajarshi Goswami · May 6, 2025

Good App, bad execution. There is no directions in the place - you will end up going random directions until you reach some random waypoint. If you are publicizing this app, at least make the infrastructure support it. Directions to the waypoints -including in app directions, more visible notices, tap-able waypoints will make the app much better. Also include tidbits on the way - facts, tips, knowledge bits will make things interesting.

★☆☆☆☆ Diana Moura Queiroz · May 21, 2025

The app itself is okay, but I'm leaving a low rating because the English narrator's pronunciation is appalling. You're supposed to be able to walk around the Colosseum just listening to the audio, but the truth is, you have to constantly check your phone to read the text because the narrator consistently mispronounces words. I'm sure that, being one of the most visited monuments in the world, the Colosseum can afford a native English-speaking narrator.

★☆☆☆☆ Spencer O'Reilly · Sep 19, 2024

App allows you to download the audio tour, but requires Internet to work. Requires GPS tracking and is stutter at best. Not worth the download.

★★☆☆☆ Razvan Soranescu · Mar 26, 2025

Deplorable experience; heavy accent made it difficult to understand, and it wasn't easy to follow along what the audio guide was referring to visually
