HughesNet is not what it's cracked up to be. They tell you that they are going to charge you one price for the Internet service and equipment rental and when you get the bill it's twice as high as they first quoted. They claim they offer 5g service it's actually more like 2g. I have Metro by T-Mobile as my cell phone service, and it is 3 times faster than HughesNet ever thought about being. Don't waste your time.

Hughesnet is awful. how are you going charge over +$100 for internet & it runs out two weeks there's just me n two lil boys??! So I reluctantly add the FIFTEEN dollar (two days worth) of 5g. That was on Saturday, so I could watch Joseline Caberet on SUNDAY. It's freaking Thursday still not added my token. I got on their chat yesterday, and they told me it can take five to eight business days? 🤔 so you all overcharge us for internet in rural areas where there's no other option for service like WOW 🤯!!
