RAC SCAMMERS TOOK MY MONEY, MISS SOLD ME ON PHONE POLICY THAT I Can't USE, LEFT ME L. legal proceedings, sold me cover I can't use left me stranded for 2 days no food or water, made me wait 6 hours before refusing recovery which I'd paid for, gave registration number over confirmed details of the van, has picture of the van on screen. Was left for 4 days stranded, for police to take me van as was there so long I incurred costs of £451 to get my van/towed back locally. Wanted to charge £666.00

I insure my car with RAC and my sister-in-law's car for her. My sister-in-law lives in Cambria, I live in Greater Manchester. My sister-in-law drove 130mls to see my wife on her 70th Birthday (she is 71yrs). Leaving at 9.20pm and her car battery was flat, and she rang the RAC. They promised to attend between 10.30pm and 00.30am 14/08. NO SHOW. Message 00.40am for 01.40 to 3.40am. Contact with RAC contact CTR at 01.00am. They said she would be PRIORITY at 7.00. NO SHOW. Now 7-11am!!

Worst ever breakdown company ever avoid avoid avoid 18 hours of waiting, diagnosed wrongly left me in hard shoulder, no lights with my daughter who needed her medication last resort phoned police and highway men, 58 calls to rac in one day / 17 the next day im taking this further j could write a book about how the RAC left us horrendous communications I ended up using an independent removals' company best part of £800 and purchased a battery I didn't need £300+ honestly AVOID
