Description
Volunteers are notified via the myResponder Mobile App by SCDF’s 995 Ops Centre of any Cardiac Arrest Case within 400 metres of their location. If you are notified, you may choose to respond to the incident and offer your assistance. The Mobile App will highlight nearby AEDs that may be available.
Once you have located the victim suffering from cardiac arrest, you can assist the original caller who alerted SCDF in performing CPR or helping to apply the AED to revive the patient. SCDF’s 995 Ops Centre may also ask responders to guide the ambulance crew by escorting them to the incident site.
If you are 15 years and above and wish to volunteer, be sure to get your SingPass ID and password ready. If you are under 18 years old, please seek parental consent for your participation. Your handphone number is also required for SCDF to get in touch with you during an emergency.
Your response is entirely voluntary, and we only encourage you to respond when you are available and to do so within safe and reasonable means.
myResponder is the latest project by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. The myResponder Mobile App alerts volunteers to nearby Cardiac Arrest Cases to render first aid before ambulance arrival. With myResponder, volunteers will have the following services at their fingertips:

Perhaps make a map similar to the AED for the fire extinguishers?
★★★★★
Very accurate location. Really useful to help people near me who needs help.

This app is useful but will be better if comes with GPS that show clear direction to the location of the AED. And also simple and clear instruction on using the AED.

The alarm at my phone activated for a cardiac arrest emergency. So I rushed downstairs below my block and I see no one, and that means the scene is going on at someone's house but i didn't know the adress. So please do another update where the one calling thr SCDF team when they say their adress, please also locate it at the Responder. Now i relised that it was my own neighbor having cardiac arrest. Please do something about the adress (blk 437 #04-372 e.g.)

App refuse to start when gps is off. You need to make it optional, not mandatory. Having gps on all the time will drain battery because other apps will start to make use of gps to cause battery consumption going high. Plz check example grab app on how to allow the app to run without gps when it is not necessary. GPS is only needed when user is attending the call and the app can prompt to enable gps during that time only. Don't be so kancheong just because your boss asked you to meet timeline.

Going to delete the app. Submitted an issue with apps. Get notification of a fire incident at a same location and time on a daily basis. Get a reply to submit diagnostic report. We are end user. What diagnostic report from app?.
