The player is presented with a sequence of stimuli (visual and audio) , and the task consists of indicating when the current stimulus matches the one from 'N' steps earlier in the sequence. I use n-back to help me focus just before doing something important. I like being able to choose my own programming. This app is attractive and easy to use. I just wish it would allow me to do a level one, as in does it match the previous. If I start with 1-back, I don't get as much of a headache as when I try starting with 2-back. There is another app that allows 1-back, but it isn't nearly as pretty. (Before you say that I should get out of my comfort zone, 1-back already is, lol.) I would rate this an easy 5 stars if it allowed 1-back.
