Description
The N-Back Challenge provides a special type of cognitive training, “dual n-back,” that helps you raise your IQ in just a few minutes per day. Sounds implausible? The catch? It’s no fun at all! Indeed, the training is designed to be maximally exhausting. If you are determined enough to make it through 20 sessions, however, science suggests that you stand to reap powerful benefits.
Intelligence is the ultimate cognitive ability: You need it to learn, reason, solve novel problems, and see connections. Higher IQs have been linked to improved academic achievement, professional success, and even better health. I like the brain exercise, and I think it had helped me think a bit better, but that may just be a bias. A well-designed app and the motivation technique works for me, but I can imagine it is quite punishing for some others.

Best N-Back app out there. It really motivates you to go through the session with their "pay for coffee" trick if you miss your session. I've really seen improved results in my memory and thinking, having completed 12 out of their 20 sessions. Hoping to complete all 20.

Loved the mechanic and the motivation to do a consistent play, and the fact that you don't necessarily need to pay to get a coffee in the case you forget one day, you get coffees when completing days, that's really great, loved it

I like using the app, and it actually works, but now im locked out and I tried getting free coffees by sharing but even after my friends download the app and did the tutorial even I did not get to reap the benefits and I am still locked out. I requested for support and now waiting to see what happens.

It's asking for donation if we break streak. I tried it. This is too tough. I saw one site dualnback dot Co, it has easy version few boxes only. But this one is too tough. It's hard to even understand and get started. U need to improve this app to make it easiest with the easiest levels as beginners, instead of tough levels in start.

Very good mental exercise. But I unfortunately the app may be difficult to grant 5 stars due to the coffee punishment still being active after the 20-day challenge. Life is unpredictable and perfection is not ideal, I understand the science of forming habits and having that punishment, but it's just too steep for someone living in a developing country. One would be forced to go premium eventually if not delete the app out of frustration. Sad to have to change apps, but can't afford the premium.

Had a 70-day streak, then they changed the voices to worse options (without even leaving the previous voice as an option). Uninstalled right away, which hurts because this was a good app.
