Description
This app allows you to easily and quickly record all of your bird observations as well as several other taxonomic groups (mammals, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, dragonflies, etc...) in Europe and worldwide.
The system is able to synchronize records with local platforms if available (for example http://www.ornitho.ch, http://www.ornitho.it, http://www.ornitho.de, http://www.ornitho.fr, http://www.ornitho.at, http://www.ornitho.cat, see full list in general terms). This way you only need one app to record all of your nature observations, wherever you are on the move.
An offline mapping tool is provided to allow recording even when there are no mobile networks available.
The app also allows you to see all recently recorded observations in your vicinity (online only).
NaturaList is recommended by the EBCC (European Bird Census Council) for use with the EBBA2 (European Breeding Bird Atlas 2) project.

Hello, kudos for the great app! I have a minor issue: my phone language is
US English, and I'd like the species in French but the species language menu
in preferences is empty. Is this a known issue?

Overall really great app, very handy for entering field data into ornitho.de However there is one thing that I think you could improve: There should be an Option to alter the radius of the "Around me (near)" query. I think it is set to 10 km, and I would really appreciate the option to change the radius to 15 or 20 km.

Excellent for ornitho Great for recording individual species with accurate GPS. One improvement would be to have a group recording option - the current one uploads them all as separate observations still.

Hello, I used it very well by my Android device, one I bought my iPhone X I can't use this app anymore. No more records on the field and compelled to use ornitho at home when back. Further a web app will be much appreciated for better records of the species and locations. Take care. Roberto

No real explanation on how to use this app. The video is difficult to see on a phone screen, and it needs a commentary especially for older technophobes like me. Also, I'm unable to locate the Website for more help?

When I sync my sightings it deletes them, and they are not available in biologist after. It saved all my previous sightings correctly

Disappointing The information in the description was not enough to know how I can get my data in fact it's pretty vague. Not detered I went to the website. Well that's a bogus site which got me wondering. All there is a slide show. What are we not being told. There are no reviews yet several thousand people have apparently downloaded it. OK so I installed it. The first hurdle is they want you to register. The trouble is it looks like a scam. We do not know who we are registering with or why. What purpose is there to my recording my observations and some uknown entity that wants my email address? That's the point at which I uninstall and will not have anything to do with this secret society. I wonder if any of the likes are real if there is no actual reviews. Caveat emptor. I would give 0 stars, but you can't which is very silly.
