Improved look and feel of the updated dashboard. Negative for features no longer there i.e. talk/siren and can no longer view battery status (charge). Update; Developer responded to advise that battery charge status is shown in the App. This was an oversight on my part...review score upgraded from 3 to 4. Looking forward to the implementation of the siren!

This is epic. We put a camera low down in our garden and have been surprised by just how many visitors our garden gets. I have recommended it to all my friends.

Review edited: looking forward to receiving the latest app on March 6th as I've seen it and know it works much better. Heads up for anyone using a pixel 10, the app will get better from March 6th

Clunky App and poor implementation of video recording. The unit has a micro SD card, supplied with it, but you can't access the recorded video. You have to save the video in a useless timeline that has a font so small you need an electron microscope to see the time on the timeline. Videos have to low a bit rate and are full of artifacts. It would be so simple to just save video to the onboard card and then be able to retrieve them, like most camera traps do. Really disappointed.

2.5-second lag to start recording as "it has to connect to Wi-Fi first". You have to record a video clip within the app, before downloading it A clip plays back automatically, so by the time you hit record, 3–5 seconds is lost. To see a clip from an alert, you hit the view link, me, gallery, select clip, view! It needs a 5-minute video on YouTube to explain this. Monitoring cannot be scheduled across midnight, and you can only have one schedule! Or it's on all day with alerts every time you go by.

Have had 2 of these cameras for a couple of years for watching the hedgehogs, and I loved them. The new update is rubbish though. It looks good, but a major downside is that when viewing the alerts you can no longer pause the recording. I used to pause them and zoom in to help identify which hog it was, or to look for identifying marks etc. I’m no longer able to do this and this was a huge part of my use of the cameras. Really disappointed.
