I am currently trying to find the owner of the drone that I found out front have not been able to get ahold of him, because the kid have got it, brand new the drone and had lost the signal of where it went 8 miles away from me, but the details in the post. Description says 'real-time crime and safety alerts from your neighbors and local law enforcement'. That's what this app used to be and it was great. Helped solve a series of neighborhood vandalism last summer. The 'what was that sound' posts are bad enough (and the coyote hysteria), but now Ring wants this app to be their version of Facebook. No, thanks! What a shame...

Repeated notifications for people posting about the same incident. 50 posts in 20 minutes, and I get a notification for all of them. I cannot snooze notifications. You'd think there would be an algorithm to stop the repeat posts.

I had two solicitors knock on my door twice last night, the latest being at 9:30. I tried making a neighbor's post 4 separate occasions. I wanted to know was who they are affiliated with. I have 3 kids in the house, so safety is important. And what company is dumb enough to have people knocking on doors at 9:30pm. The email I got saying why my posts were denied was "Common Types of Reports that frequently do not contain approvable actions include: Unknown Individuals at the door." Do better Ring.
