This app is NOT proper English it is the bastardized version known as "American English. If Anyone wants to learn English language and write in English then British English is far superior to the USA version of English. I am a native speaker of English (British English) and so many words on this app are spelled incorrectly and others are pronounced incorrectly. I downloaded the app purely for curiosity. I have used many Nemo LLC apps to learn many languages, yet they cannot get English right.

American English not English. Nemo apps seem really good in general. Unfortunately this is American English not English. I am a native English speaker, they are not the same either in pronunciation or spelling, this is an important definition. For example "Check please" becomes "Check please" and actually we would say something like "May we have the bill" not a check. A check is something you pay with, not pay for. Also, the only translation is into Japanese which isn't stated on the description which is important.
