Yes ! But, There is a problem too ! In Cantonese the reading accents and talking accents are different @@Hong Kong Cantonese accents some speech accents are different from mainland Guangdong Cantonese accents!

This is one of the best apps I've found for improving my Cantonese. My parents are native Cantonese speakers, so I speak good Cantonese and have a good ear for authentic Cantonese (but have only just started learning to read the characters) so I can confirm the voice on this app is really accurate. I bought the paid version, and I'm very pleased with it. I'm enjoying the interface and that I'm improving my reading skills. I've been using the app over a year now. Such a great app - thank you Nemo!

It translates to Chinese, but it doesn't pronounce the words in Cantonese. If you speak Cantonese, you know there is a big difference. Don't know why it says "Cantonese".

I am giving this a bad review based purely on the lack of content for the android version compared to apple. It has fewer phrases, no customization in settings, no daily words, and no statistics. My wife has the apple version, and it is vastly more in depth and helpful. I wish I could get a refund, since I bought the full version based on how well the apple version worked.

It has frustrating numbers scattered in the English parts, no accents in the Chinese, no explanations of the tones required in the Chinese, and no explanations of the differences in pronunciations where the English you see is NOT what you pronounce. It needs a guide at the beginning. 2-star review not 1 because it's a good system of repeat recordings: Student records (guide: English & #) Teacher speaks, Students recording plays, then Teacher speaks again... with a chance for you to correct it.
