★★★★★ My first review I gave Hoover 5 stars. Would give more if I could. I would like to add to my review since March 2020 in one single day without warning our schools closed along with so many other business , job loss, people losing their home or trying to hold on to them. Hoover ES and NSD went into immediate action working very hard to set up a at home online learning system for our children. To be honest it was stressful, anxiety ridden process . My children were not happy. Through out the summer when everyone should of been enjoying their summer break instead , Hoover staff and NSD worked through the summer endless hours to come up with a better online learning system, also preparing our school to be ready to have children back in school in person learning. I had watched all board meeting, read emails, and read about Clever, Canvas, and all other. Since all in Mom-Thurs my children have their smile back, laughing back, excited to tell me about their day, more organization, their entire scheduled structure routine is back and we are all happy with that. I would like to thank all the teachers, teachers helpers, assistants that returned to hoover in class really love and care about our children. So I thank the NDS, Rob McGee who walked into this mess of no fault of ours as our New superintendent doing an fanatic job, along with Dr,G, Administration and all others worked very hard . NSD supplied all supplies our children needed. Now Clever, Canvas, along with all other programs are working so well. The new chromebooks are awesome, that makes my children even more interested in learning. Hoover Hawks always.

★★☆☆☆ Could be way better Should be able to connect to home access to check grades. Should also be able to access District, school, and teacher websites.

★★☆☆☆ Why did they take it out? They took out the best feature, checking home access grades straight from the app! It's ok other than that.
