It's app helping me when my laptop battery shutdown, and I need to know all connected devices which is connected to network

This scanner is the fastest and most informative scanner of five I tried. All devices on the LAN are identified. Most critical is the IP address of an ink jet wireless printer the finally works via DHCP addressing which of course changes each startup. A true lifesaver!

This app has some standard network tools like many other apps like it. Truthfully, there are apps with more robust set of utilities, but the thing I needed was to scan a network that's on a VPN connection. No other app I tried allows this, but rather all restrict activities to the detected LAN. THIS app, however, has a Remote Network Scanner utility in the tools' menu, which provided the functionality I needed. So, kudos to the developer for going that extra mile, and thank you!

Ads that look like malware... only scanned network once and uninstalled

They use some freaky Russian or something ad-provider that cannot be blocked with a custom DNS. There are more than enough apps that do the same thing, and you can use them without having to endure ads (if you are clever enough). Also, it shows no info about the devices on the network. Other apps show at least a bit of info that can help with identifying which device is that.
