Excellent text editing app. I need it mostly for taking notes. And I was so much used to the notepad++ pc app... I absolutely love that now I can store every note as a separate txt file in the phone memory. Brilliant! It would be nice to have a total symbols count showing somewhere on the open text file. Though even like that the app is more than suitable for my needs. 5 minutes it took to adjust the basic settings - default notes storage folder, designs etc... After that it's flawless to use.

Simple editor with encoding support. Adding CR/LF conversion in addition to encoding would be perfect! I feel CR LF mismatch is the main reason for complains about the editor making .ovpn files unreadable.

Best text editor so far. The only problem is when I open txt file from file manager I can't "save" it. App forces me to "save as". Other than that it's good.

I have uninstalled it. Would not paste text from other sites properly. Text would go missing. Many white spaces at times. Then would hang, and you could not enter text from the keyboard.

Works fine, but you can only save files as ".txt" files. You cannot write "XML", "json" or anything else.

Worst application in it, you are only able to write but not able to run the data. Not able to save it . Many else issue were in it. In my opinion and my team and from our survey all people not want to support this application. Because it doesn't have anything which is doing proper. So we recommend you to choose any other aap for coding like JavaScript, HTML etc. But we advise you to use notepad for HTML app this helps you in coding but this app is also not full y fine but good for HTML.

Every time you update a text file, unnecessary spaces and carriage returns are inserted making the file unnecessarily large. Also, everything you update and save a text file, new file is created instead of updating present file.

I have been using for years but today an update has stopped it editing text files because scrolling no longer works. A previous annoying bug was that when you search for a word you cannot edit the text where the found word is, the cursor always returns to the start of the file. Hopefully these bugs are fixed soon.

1. Open document 2. Do not change the document 3. Close the document 4. App asks to save changes 5. You answer no 6. The app saves an empty (0 KB) file in the place of your file, destroying all previous data
