This app functions precisely as it was intended to. Works flawlessly in real time with extremely conservative CPU usage. I live in a rural area with ever-changing conditions and needed a utility to notify me of changes to my connectivity. This product hits the target straight on. My only gripe is that the sound alert prior to the voice alert is the same as the default sound of my volume buttons, so every time I hear it I think that's been altered. Selectable alert sound would be awesome.

This doesn't actually check the network connection. It only checks to see if the phone thinks that it has a connection. In order to check the actual connection it needs to see if it can connect to a website.

Only works when your device disconnects. But when you connect via Wi-Fi to a router, and the router disconnects from the internet, this app does nothing.

It is an ALERT. You should seriously consider adding the option to repeat the alert with the choice of the repeating interval.
