The New City Catechism is a modern-day resource aimed at helping children and adults alike learn the core doctrines of the Christian faith via 52 questions and answers. The New City Catechism mobile app makes it easy to take all of the questions and answers with you wherever you go—for free!
The app pairs each question and answer with a Scripture reading from the ESV, a short prayer, and a devotional commentary written by contemporary pastors, including John Piper, Timothy Keller, Kevin DeYoung, and others.
The app also includes a short version of each answer and kid-friendly songs designed to help children memorize the entire catechism.

The New City Catechism app is great to teach, not only yourself but also your kids. It has a children's song for each question, commentary, and a prayer. The design is simple but effective. No ads. I wanted to teach my kids catechisms and this app delivered.

Can you please restore the feature to play "all songs"?! We used this feature every day with our kids! Recently the app interface has changed, so we've only been able to play one song at a time and have to manually switch to the next question and push play for the next song to start. We are so bummed to not be able to listen and learn the same way! Otherwise, a full five stars for this app! Just so sad this feature is currently unavailable as it was before!

Changing my rating to 2 stars because the app used to have the full experience that the NCC devotional gives you but in digital form. Now, it no longer have the commentaries by older pastors, preachers, and theologians. Also, there were some typological errors in the app now. Example, the scriptures in Questions 44 and 45 are exchanged.

Please make the songs have the continuous play again. I used this constantly in the car with my grandchildren as we're in the car a great deal and could sing along together without having to stop and push play after each song. I am too old to do this and drive. Thanks for a wonderful app that was able to use a bit more in the past.
