Description by CGIS Solutions(from Google Play)
2020-2021 Season New York State Snowmobile Association (NYSSA) Mobile App
Help support snowmobiling in New York State by purchasing the New York State Snowmobile Association (NYSSA) Mobile App! A portion of the proceeds go to NYSSA to promote snowmobiling and other snowmobile club projects in New York State.
The NYSSA mobile app brings current snowmobile trail information and points of interest into live online and OFFLINE map capabilities. This is far from a static map as NYSSA’s 200+ clubs have LIVE access to update trail status as well as add warnings, reroutes and points of interest through their administrative access. Clubs also have access to add their own local trails, with new trails being added and updated regularly.
Some of the highlights of the app:
-Choose between both online (live updates) and OFFLINE maps. Offline maps updates are available daily. -See your current location and heading, allowing the app to follow your location. -Breadcrumb tracking of current location and new navigation mode (new for 2020) -View current trail status (open, closed, unreported), closures, and reroutes -Find fuel, food, lodging, parking and ride locations, parts and service, and scenic or points of interest recommended by NYSSA and clubs. -Click on trails or points of interest to see more information -Measure distances and areas -Choose between multiple basemaps including imagery -Search for locations and address -Toggle layers on and off Please contact us (email link within the app) with suggestions for future updates. We look forward to working with the snowmobile community in our future development efforts!
Notes: *Trail status, reroutes, and related points are maintained by the clubs and may not always be accurate. **Continued use of GPS will quickly drain battery life. It is recommended to turn off GPS when not required or plug into a power source during extended use. ***This purchase is for the 2020-2021 season. The app will continue to work through October 2021, and will time out on November 1st, 2021. Another purchase is required for the 2021-2022 season***

★★★★★
Works OK. I wish you could view businesses/gas stations in the offline map. Maybe it's possible and I can't figure it out. Despite what another review said it absolutely does drop breadcrumbs. Used it all day yesterday down in Delaware County and it came in handy for sure.
★★★★★
Great app, updated regularly, was using polaris ride command which is far behind with map updates. Can't wait to put the maps to use! I encountered a small issue with downloading the maps, with a quick email the issue was resolved withing a few hours.
★★☆☆☆
This app is worthless. Can not use to navigate, breadcrumbs no longer available in this new app. Can not save a ride, Nor plan a ride. Uninstalled an went with a different app that was free. As you can see the developers can not handle constructive criticism. Instead they are rude in their response. What a way to treat your customers. And I did use your worthless help section an took your worthless tour. The app is worthless Polaris Ride command is better and free. They deleted their response.
★★☆☆☆
I download the app and saw the map once and then it glitched and disappeared. Then everytime I went into the app there were no maps at all. It kept telling me I needed internet which I had been connected to the entire time. Don't waste your money.
★★☆☆☆
What a waste of money if you dont include the Old Forge trails. What other trails are missing?
