It's a scam. My daughter's named a star after their grandparents. The certificate has the astronomical coordinates. I'm an astrophotography and using my official apps and telescope, no star exists at those coordinates. The company they bought it from directs them to this app which just shows the general location of the star. Plugging the coordinates into the astronomical unions database shows nothing exists. What a scam!

I live in the Southern Hemisphere. This app insisted I was in daytime when I wasn't, and required a subscription in order to change that.
