The app, contactless, the photo requirements as well as the biometrics taking with one's phone are exceptional initiatives but the rigorous procedures in getting the correct picture size / gestures as well as chin alignment; the thumb getting processes should be simplified than the rigorous processes applicants in diaspora go through in trying to get the processes achieved. IT keeps tell me eligibility failed even though my details are correct and had been verified. It can't open for biometric capture.

On what basis is the app checking for eligibility? It's unclear what eligibility criteria is being used for the app to get you proceed with the biometrics. Passport renewal should not be this stressful if already while filling the initial application form and paying, the system already automatically generates your details using your old passport information. I see no reason why so-called verification should keep failing at the point of biometric Enrollment again. So frustrating.
