NomadSwipe: Trip Planner

NomadSwipe is a trip planner built on swiping: flick through real places in any city, keep the ones that catch your eye, and find every pick pinned on your trip map.

Planning a trip usually means a dozen open tabs and a notes app full of half-saved places. NomadSwipe swaps that for a few minutes of yes or no. It works as a vacation planner for a weekend trip, a week away or a city you have never visited. The screenshots in this listing show a sample trip: a long weekend in Lisbon with 16 places, all picked by swiping.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Swipe
Pick a city and NomadSwipe deals you real places around you, one card at a time. Like it? Swipe right or press Save. Not for you? Swipe left or press Skip.

2. Save
Each yes lands in your trip the moment you make it, so the shortlist grows as you browse. Cards show the category, the rating, how far away the place is and its opening status, which keeps each decision quick.

3. Map
Open your trip and every saved place is pinned on a travel map. Spot the ones that cluster, then plan each day around one neighborhood. If you would rather scan a list, order it by rating, by distance or alphabetically.

4. Go
Open a place to browse its photos, start directions, visit its website or give it a call before you head over.

Start with the places you would be sorry to miss. Then use the map to see which are close together, so each day of your itinerary needs less travel. Add a custom pin for anything the cards do not show, such as your hotel.

NomadSwipe is free to download on Android. The free plan includes:
