Comments on Note Rote: Music reading tutor for Android

★★★★★ Autumn Hardie · Sep 27, 2024

This app is good for helping with note recognition quickly. I played bells in marching band and got really strong in the treble clef. I needed to work harder to achiever better note recognition in the bass clef. This app is helping me get there.

★★★★★ Brandon Tumeo · Jul 16, 2024

Great app! Would be awesome if it had note recognition through sound, and even better through Midi compatability. Edit: you should also add a mode that shows both clefs the way sheet music often does, so we can learn both at the same time, it is a little different learning just one at a time. And maybe a hint button (with a visual cue?) where if you press it, it shows some or all of the note labels e.g. just the spaces or just the lines, or both.

★★★★☆ Andrew Sheil · Oct 27, 2024

Great app. You do slowly get used to the notes. I wish the piano keys were scrollable.

★★☆☆☆ Lloyd Blackbeard · Feb 25, 2024

Please add black notes, even if not used directly, they are needed for context.

★★☆☆☆ Luke Freeman · Jun 21, 2024

Playback is minor scale, not major scale, incorrect intervals sounding.

★☆☆☆☆ Divya Singhvi · Aug 17, 2026

I have been charged an amount without my concent. Please refund my money back
