L really like this app, it has replaced Evernote for me. It does have a few issues & glitches. This week it suddenly shrinks the note previews as I scroll, which is annoying. [Fixed! Thx!]

Problem ---------solved, Thanks .... I am new to Zoho... Created an account just to encounter a basic error in functionality. The text when you need to edit at the bottom of the paragraph in notes will be covered up my the keyboard. So can't see what comes after typing. Need to minimize the keyboard.... So saying 👋

This app is truly amazing! I wanted a secure app for long-term goals and personal notes (10 years ahead). Google Keep lacks an in-app lock& history timeline, but Zoho Notebook has it all. Best features: 1. In-app Lock: Biometric & passcode security for sensitive notes. 2. Organization: Neat notebooks and cards. 3. Version History/Timeline: Track changes made over time.

I've developed a love/hate relationship with this app. Syncing isn't as reliable as it once was, and I've rarely lost work. The undo button is FINALLY here, and I love it! But the new forced formatting drives me batty. Dashes become bullets, HEADINGS lose their asterisks and become bold, and dashes can become lines. Apparently I've secretly known a coding language all along. I type things and crazy stuff happens. I still love the app. NEVER let Zoho make URLs clickable. They eventually break!!!

★★★★☆ Kanna · Oct 27, 2026

Update removed the ability to re-order To-do list items which is the main reason I switched to this app from the Samsung Notes app. Starting a new to-do list item no longer automatically capitalizes the first word, but that isn't a dealbreaker. Another dealbreaker is the new inability to swipe to delete an item. Edit: These basic functions should be easy access, not several menus deep. Edit: I do love that I can move to-do list items between notes now, but drag to reorder is pretty glitchy.

★★☆☆☆ Shona R · Sep 11, 2026

I moved from Keep Notes just because it didn't offer enough themes and colors. Been using Zoho for 6 weeks. I hate that when you update a note, it doesn't update. Like a sync takes a long time and even then you may not even see your changes. It doesn't handle sorting of notebooks or notes very well either. Sort by most recent, select, then a lot of nothing. Usually when someone is actively working in their notebooks and notes they expect changes and sorts to happen immediately.

★★☆☆☆ Tess List · Oct 21, 2026

October hit & my Notebook Ap "made for Android" changed in that now AFTER I click "share with Notebook" my phone refuses to send already-taken photos (from either Gallery or Photos) &/or a downloaded ones to Notebook Ap - it forces me instead to make me preview, select & choose photos a 2nd time from pictures and or collections (as many Droid Aps do... double selecting locks up my phone, AND I'M SO MAD I WANT TO DELETE A DECADE OF NOTEBOOKS

★☆☆☆☆ sonysakura · Oct 27, 2026

The app has been steadily getting worse but recent update to To-Do lists broke my faith in it completely. They forced the notes to mix (the completed tasks are mixed up with uncompleted ones) and made custom order a subscription feature. Which means I simply can't use the app anymore. Microsoft phone keyboard stopped working in the app, too... Will be looking for a new app once I back up my notes.

★☆☆☆☆ divya bhat · Sep 4, 2026

I have a paid version of this app, which I purchased after going through the reviews. However, this app can't seem to get the basic thing of saving simple notes right. The notes don't save when created. If sometimes see a double version of the same notes. Sometimes I find my notes has disappeared all together. The notes which disappeared had some important medical information I had noted. My free notepad app does a better work than this paid app.
